Tunjungan Plaza (TP) is the second-greatest mall in Surabaya after Pakuwon Mall. Tunjungan Plaza is a mainstream shopping center square in the city of Surabaya where it was established in 1986 and situated in Central Surabaya, unequivocally on Jl. Jend. Basuki Rahmat and paves the way to Jl. Embong Malang. It has a net leaseable zone of 160,000 m2, which houses in excess of 500 retail sources including boutiques, cafés, bistros, films, book shops, markets, and kids’ arcade place. It is a piece of Tunjungan City Superblock, an incorporated multi-offices scene, which incorporates the shopping center (Tunjungan Plaza), Menara Mandiri Office Tower at the highest point of TP 2, Regency Condominium and Sheraton Hotel and Tower at the highest point of TP 3, Four Points Hotel by Sheraton at the highest point of TP 4, The Peak Residence and Pakuwon Center at the highest point of TP 5, One Icon Residence and Pakuwon Tower at the highest point of TP 6. First opened on 7 May 1986, it is separated into six structures: TP 1, TP 2, TP 3, TP 4, TP 5 and TP 6.[1]

Tunjungan Plaza (around then called Plaza Tunjungan) kept on developing. Beginning from the development that started in 1985, the kickoff of Plaza Tunjungan I in 1986, changing the name of Plaza Tunjungan to Tunjungan Plaza and changing the shopping center logo and revamping Tunjungan Plaza I-II in 2007 to remodeling Tunjungan Plaza I-IV, opening of Tunjungan Plaza V in 2015 and Tunjungan Plaza VI in 2017.
